Keys To Communicate, located in Metuchen, NJ, is a speech therapy practice offering in-person & remote services to adolescents & adults throughout New Jersey. Our therapy team is passionate about providing individualized speech therapy and group services while fostering close relationships with our clients and their families. Our mission for Keys To Communicate is to create accessible services for the underserved populations including adolescents and adults with intellectual, neurologic, and developmental differences. We are a DDD Provider and accept many insurances.

Keys To Communicate offers a variety of ways to receive therapy! We provide in-person, community-based and Telehealth options for speech sessions targeting goals specific to the client's communication needs. We are a DDD Provider and accept many insurances.
Our speech therapy practice, located in Metuchen, NJ, specializes in treating adolescents and adults with difficulty in communication, social skills, executive function, memory and life skills. That means you will receive the highest quality speech therapy because this is what we focus on.
All therapy is personally relevant and functional to the client. We use tools, techniques, and strategies that work and generalize to everyday life!

LEGO CLUB
Join us for eight weeks of hands-on building, creativity, and fun! Designed to promote social skills, and led by our licensed Occupational Therapist.
DANCE CLUB
Join us for a dynamic social club designed for adolescents to connect, express themselves, and build social communication skills through movement, music, and group activities. In partnership with Metuchen Dance, structured social interaction to promote confidence, collaboration, and fun in a supportive environment.
Older Teens/Young Adults
(Ages ~16–21)
Community Outing Club
Our Community Outing Teen Club is designed for high school students, those preparing to transition into college, vocational programs, or the workforce. Through fun, real-world outings and social experiences, participants have the opportunity to build independence, strengthen communication skills, and develop confidence through fun activities both in the community and office. Each outing and activity encourages collaboration, fostering friendships, and social flexibility—skills essential for their next chapter in life.
Virtual Social Club:
Our Virtual Social Club is a welcoming space for older teens and young adults who are finishing high school, beginning college or vocational programs, or stepping into the world of work. Through engaging discussions, games, and interest-based activities, participants build friendships, practice real-world communication skills, and explore topics relevant to their next life stage—all from the comfort of home. This group offers connection, confidence, and community during a time of exciting transitions.
Adults with I/DD (Ages 21+)

Adult Life Skills Program
Our Adult Life Skills Program supports individuals with I/DD in building practical, everyday skills for greater independence and confidence. Through hands-on activities and guided discussions, participants explore topics such as grocery shopping, cooking, money management, time awareness, communication, problem-solving, and navigating daily routines—empowering them to thrive at home, in the community, and in future opportunities.
Physical Wellness Group
This outdoor group promotes health and well-being through movement, mindfulness, and fun physical activities. Participants enjoy walks, stretching, games, and guided exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination—all while socializing with peers and connecting with nature in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Assistive Technology Social Group
As a group, those using assistive technology can get hands-on practice, have group interaction, and learn how to navigate and apply technology in meaningful, functional ways—all while fostering social connection and confidence.
Art Club
Art Club provides a creative space for self-expression, exploration, and connection. Participants engage in a variety of guided and open-ended projects using different materials and techniques. Whether painting, drawing, sculpting, or crafting, the focus is on having fun, sharing ideas, and building confidence through creativity in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Adults who are college or work-bound (Ages 18+)
Virtual Social Club:
This virtual social group is designed for adults who are navigating college, job training, or entering the workforce. Each session offers a mix of structured conversation, peer connection, and fun virtual activities that promote social engagement. Whether you're balancing classes, starting a job, or exploring next steps, this group provides a supportive community to share experiences, build confidence, foster friendships, and stay socially connected!
